History dates back to the methods humans have used to attract attention. Whether it's beating our chests looking for a mate, lighting fire or...sacrificing animals in the form of prayer before dinner, or simpler activities, like writing.
It's fair to say that seeking attention is an integral part of our nature. Now what does this mean?
This has evolved into a mega world of sensory stimulation, it's no wonder so many things get lost in translation. Pop up-ads, Social media and of course streaming platforms have somewhat made it easier to become a victim of stimulation as opposed to a receiver of it.
Now I know this sounds bad...but hear me out.
As a senseless consumer, this might be a very detrimental pursuit, however, as a business this could actually work in your favor.
Here's how:
> Creating Authentic Content
- Now for some this might sound a little cliché but the value of authenticity is indeed, timeless.
- This helps you stand out and monopolize within oversaturated industries.
- Increases traffic and brand-awareness.
Summary: Capitalize on the higher demand for out of the box thinking.
- A good story sequence helps a consumer engage.
- Build intrigue.
- Have a message.
Summary: Evoke emotions. Play on those heartstrings, a lot.
> Quality Counts, But Only If It Already Checks Out.
- If your content is coherent, consistent and entertaining, the quality of it won't be stressed as much. This is due largely to the fact that there is already an over-saturation of high-quality content that still isn't that promising.
- It's not really about the quality of the car company brand, it's about the functionality of the vehicle itself that impacts the driver.
Now ask yourself. Is your content insightful? Does it impact your consumers bottom-line? Does it affect them on an existential level? If the answer is a loud resounding "Yes!" then you're well on your way to creating informed and entrancing ad campaigns, that relate to and captivate new and existing clients.
Oh, and one more thing. Branding...is everything. But, we'll take a deeper dive into that in the next one, so stay tuned and subscribe!
